Crispin believes research should work as hard as possible by delivering actionable findings, a clear ROI, and by demonstrating value for money. He is a representative for ESOMAR UK and ensures that Facts International follows their International Code of Practice and Professional Standards.
Prior to his career in research, Crispin worked as an accountant, a background that established the foundations of his considerable commercial understanding and eye for detail. He has over 15 years client experience and has been Chief Executive of Facts since 2008.
Emily is passionate about engaging with clients to communicate results effectively to help drive business change.
With over a decade of research experience, Emily enjoys getting to the bottom of complex consumer and business issues.
Emily holds a full membership with the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS) and sees that Facts International adheres to their Code of Professional Behaviour.
In her spare time, Emily continually strives to improve her business knowledge by studying for professional qualifications, and relaxes with her love of dance.
Jo's career started in 2006 in the communications centre at Facts International where she quickly grew to become an asset to the Insight & Marketing team, before continuing her career at CIE as a Senior Client Services Executive.
Here, Jo specialised in delivering large scale international multi-mode studies, while driving new business and marketing strategies forward for the division.
In early 2013, Jo took the opportunity to join our team here in Sydney as Research Manager.
Jo is a very positive and upbeat individual, always jumping at the chance to use her creative flair with fresh research solutions.
Peter is the Managing Director of VCCP Australia and Consultant to Facts International.
Pete started his career in digital at Razorfish in the late 90's before progressing into advertising at Inferno and then joined VCCP in 2008 where he headed up accounts for McDonald's, Unilever as well as the London 2012 Olympic Games: developing many of the advertising, branding and digital materials that would form the communication for the 2012 games.
In his time at VCCP he progressed to Head of Digital, running a department of 60 before moving to Australia in 2011 to take up the role of Chief Innovation Officer at Group M's MEC. However, when the opportunity arose to set up VCCP's Australian operation, Pete jumped at the chance to re-join the VCCP/Chime fold in Sydney.
Senior Insight Manager
Rowena is passionate about rolling up her sleeves and thoroughly interrogating research data. She finds that nothing quite beats that “aha” moment when you find an insight nugget that will really make the difference to a client’s business strategy.
Rowena has over 4 years' experience working on both ad hoc projects and large-scale international trackers (including one covering 78 countries), with a core specialism in the telecommunications sector.
Rowena has a passion for music, the highlight of which was playing at the Notting Hill Carnival with her Calypso steel band.
Melanie began her marketing career in 1999 when fresh out of university she gained experience working on various tactical and field marketing projects. In 2001 she decided to combine her design skills, marketing interest, love of business strategy and desire to experience life abroad, by emigrating to Portugal and setting up her own marketing and design business.
After 5 years away and keen to expand her marketing knowledge, Melanie returned home. Back in the UK she pursued her Professional Post Graduate Marketing Diploma and embarked on a B2B marketing career as Marketing Manager with an innovative software company in the Midlands.
Seven years on and an experienced marketer at management level, Melanie has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in a range of sectors from IT to design and manufacturing and now research.
Melanie is involved in a variety of extra-curricular marketing activities and is Chair of the Kent Branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
Group Finance Director
Claire is a core part of the team at Facts International and, as the woman with her finger on the financial pulse of the business, is always in demand.
She has worked as an accountant for over 12 years and has had experience in both practice and industry.
Claire enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, and her interests include travelling, snowboarding and running.
IT & Creative Director
Spencer has worked in the IT industry for 19 years and previously worked for CompuServe, Microsoft, and SAGA, and ran his own IT support company for 7 years before joining Facts in 2008.
He leads the IT department, which is responsible for the complete IT infrastructure at Facts, and ensures the smooth running and high availability of systems.
In his spare time Spencer works as a part-time fire fighter for the local fire service, and also enjoys motor and water sports.
Telephone Operations Director
For over 20 years' Kerry has worked in logistics so organisation, productivity and efficiency are second nature. Kerry believes that quality is key and strives to maintain Facts International’s excellent reputation for quality research within the industry.
Kerry has more than 10 years experience in research, dealing with all methodologies and specialising particularly in CATI.
When she’s not keeping the telephone centre running at optimal performance, Kerry enjoys walking, gardening, socialising with friends and family… and a good party!
Head of Data Processing
The integrity of the data is paramount in Edward’s approach to DP; he believes that it must aid quality insight through intelligent program design.
Edward has an excellent inside knowledge of the research business having worked at the coalface of research as an interviewer for a number of years. Over the last decade, he has specialised in data processing and now runs the team in the position of Head of Data Processing.
Edward spends his summers with a cricket bat in his hand – and spends the winter dreaming of summer.
Mark joined Chime Research & Engagement as Head of Operations in 2010 and was appointed to oversee fieldwork capabilities including telephone, face-to-face, online and data analysis. Mark has more than ten years' experience in strategic operations direction, including eight years as Director of Telephone Operations for Nunwood Consulting, and more recently as European Operations Director at Toluna. Mark’s extensive technical experience and in-depth online platform knowledge has seen him hand-picked to work on several large scale solutions, for several high profile brands.
As Digital Director, Mark’s key focus is driving research innovation through digital technologies. With a research standpoint and in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by businesses, Mark has a proven track record delivering powerful, end-to-end online research solutions.
Supported by an expert team of digital research practitioners, no matter what the technique and methodology; Mark makes sure they understand the objectives and are relied upon to apply the most appropriate, proven and productive processes.
